THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS "GIFT KEEPER"

Here's a quick and easy project that I found on Amy Celona's blog.  I changed mine up a bit and also made a few other cute and fun designs.

Think Happy Thoughts "Gift Keeper"
Stamp Set:  Think Happy Thoughts, Baroque Motifs
Accessories:
3 3/4 x 7 1/2 inch Going Gray card stock
(scored at 1/2", 3 3/4", 4", 7")
Strip of Certainly Celery card stock (2 1/2" wide)
(to punch 5 petal flower for leaves)
Strip of Pretty in Pink (1 3/8" wide)
(to punch 1 3/8" circle)
Strip of Pink Pirouette (2 1/2" wide)
(to punch scalloped circle flower)
Strip of Vanilla card stock (1 1/4" wide)
(to punch circle greeting)
Word Window punch
1 1/4" Grosgrain Celery Ribbon
Scalloped Circle punch
VersaMark pad

1.  Fold the going gray card stock on the score lines and then open again.  Use your bone folder to make crisp folds.

Stamp the large flourish with the VersaMark Pad (VersaMark creates a tone-on-tone or a watermark effect).

2.  From the top edge (holding it vertically), put the word window punch in as far as it goes and punch twice (making a longer opening than the punch makes) on the front.

3.  Fold on all score lines and adhere the top two scored 1/2" panels to each other.  Punch two holes and thread and knot a 5" piece of narrow celery ribbon.

4.  Using the 5 petal flower punch, punch a green "flower" that you will cut in half to use as petals.

5.  Stamp the greeting on the vanilla strip in Melon Mambo and then punch out with a 1 1/4" circle.

6.  Punch a Melon Mambo circle with the 1 3/8" circle.

7.  Punch a Pretty in Pink scallop circle.

8.  Assemble the flower as shown and put the "petals" on the back.  Adhere this focal image to the side front.
