CARD PORTFOLIO
Here's a very simple project you can make and I bet you already have most of the supplies on hand.
You'll need a sheet of cardstock 8 1/2 x 11. Score (score means adding a crease) down the middle at 5 1/2 and across the bottom at 2 1/2. You will fold the bottom portion up and punch a hole where the corners meet. Thread ribbon from the inside out and knot the end to keep in place. I added four note cards (right pocket) and four envelopes (left pocket). The note cards measure 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. The strip of designer paper across the top measures 5 1/2 x 1 1/4. I scalloped a piece of cardstock measuring 5 1/2 x 1 and layered it under the designer paper as an accent. I used our scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch and 1" circle punch as the center accent piece layering each piece. I pierced the edges of the scallop circle with our 1/16th punch for an added accent.
The designer paper on the front cover measures 5 1/4 x 5 3/4. Be sure to punch through all layers to thread your ribbon. I made the card stock on the front cover a little wider measuring 1 3/4 and then used the scallop border trim as an accent and placing on top of the designer paper. I made the same scallop center accent piece for the cover as I did for each note card.
Most of the products I used are retired or retiring but you can use any combination of paper you have on hand. Here are the supplies I used.
Stamps: Circle of Friends
Paper: Kiwi Kiss Card stock, Raspberry Tart Designer Series paper, Whisper White Card stock, Rose Red Card stock, Cameo Coral Card stock
Ribbon: Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, 1 3/8, 1 1/4, 1" circle punches, 1/16th circle, scallop trim border
